What are the photo and signature sizes for CUET UG?

How to use CUET UG Photo and Signature Resizer
- Pick the document tab (photo, signature and so on) and click Select to add a photo or scan from your phone or computer.
- Drag the crop box so the face or signature fills the frame. Signatures are cleaned and trimmed automatically.
- Click Resize. The file is made at the exact pixel size and inside the KB range, and downloads straight away.
- Repeat for each tab, then upload the files to the application form.
CUET UG uploads
The Common University Entrance Test (UG) application asks for a photograph and a signature. As per the NTA information bulletin for CUET (UG) 2026, the photograph is a JPG of 10 KB to 200 KB and the signature a JPG of 10 KB to 50 KB.

Photo rules in the NTA bulletin
NTA asks for a recent photograph in which the face covers about 80% of the image, with both ears clearly visible, against a white background. Masks are not allowed. NTA does not give a pixel size, only the KB range, so this tool uses standard passport proportions (3.5 × 4.5 cm) at 413 × 531 pixels, which looks clear and lands comfortably inside the range. Crop tightly: the dashed oval shows roughly how large the face should be, and you can make the box smaller so the face fills more of the frame.
Live photo
NTA forms also capture a live photograph during the application. Sit in good light in front of a light wall, face the camera and keep your ears visible, just like in the uploaded photo.
Is the CUET signature limit different from NEET and JEE?
NEET and JEE Main allow a signature of up to 100 KB, but CUET UG allows only 50 KB. If you prepared your files for another NTA exam, check the signature size before uploading it to CUET. This page is set to the CUET range, so the signature will always come out between 10 and 50 KB.
Preparing the signature
- Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, a little larger than usual.
- Photograph it from above in good light.
- Upload it in the Signature tab. The cleanup makes the paper white and the ink dark, and the empty space is trimmed.
- Click Resize signature.
After you apply
Keep copies of the uploaded photo and signature. Universities admitting through CUET often ask for the same photo in their own admission portals later, sometimes with a different size limit. The photo to 50 KB and photo to 100 KB tools help with those.
