This policy explains what FixDoks ("we", "us") collects when you use fixdoks.com, how we use it and the choices you have. In short: most tools never upload your files, server conversions are deleted straight away, and we only store files you explicitly save to My Files.
Files you process
Browser tools. Most tools (image, PDF editing, signing, text, QR and calculator tools) process files locally inside your web browser. The files are not sent to us.
Server tools. Some conversions (Word, Excel and PowerPoint to and from PDF, strong PDF compression, PDF passwords and some OCR) run on our server. The file is uploaded over HTTPS only to perform the conversion you asked for. The input and output are deleted immediately after the result is returned to you, and an automatic clean-up job runs every hour to remove anything left behind, for example after an interrupted download. The upload limit is 50 MB per file. We do not sell, share, read or use your files for any other purpose, including training AI models.
Google sign-in
You can sign in with your Google account. Signing in is needed to download results and lets you save files to My Files. From Google we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to run your account, show who is signed in and contact you about your account if needed. We never see or store your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.
My Files
When you choose "Save to My Files", that file is stored on our server so you can download it, or open it in a tool again, later. Nothing is saved unless you ask for it. Saved files are encrypted at rest and are accessible only to your account. Each account has 1 GB of storage and a 50 MB limit per file.
You can delete any saved file at any time from My Files. The "Delete my account" option on the My Files page permanently removes your account, your sessions on every device and every file you stored. We do not keep a copy after deletion, apart from routine server logs described below.
Cookies
Session cookie. If you sign in, we set one first-party cookie (fd_session) to keep you signed in. It expires after 60 days or when you sign out. It is not used for advertising.
Local storage. Some tools may remember preferences (for example your last chosen settings) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device.
Analytics and advertising cookies. When analytics or advertising is enabled on the site, Google Analytics and Google AdSense and their partners may set cookies, as described below.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
FixDoks is funded by advertising and may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. Where the law requires consent for these cookies (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), we ask for your consent, using a Google-certified consent message, before personalised ads are served. Ads are never placed inside your output files.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers keep basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of the request) for security, abuse prevention and to keep the service working. Logs do not contain the contents of your files. We may use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used, with cookies as described above.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, Google sign-in, and Google analytics and advertising when enabled), or when required by law.
Children
FixDoks is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. If you do not sign in, we generally hold no personal data beyond server logs. If you do, we hold your account details and any files you saved until you delete them. You can delete your files and account yourself on the My Files page, or email us.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
