How do I add a signature to a photo or image?
To sign a photo, open FixDoks's Add Signature to Image tool and upload your JPG, PNG or WebP file. Draw, type or upload a signature, drag it into place, and add text or a date if needed. The image stays in your browser, then download the signed file at full resolution.

How to use Add Signature to Image
- Click Select image or drop your JPG, PNG or WebP file onto the box.
- Click Signature, then draw, type or upload it, or reuse a signature you saved before.
- Drag the signature into place on the image and resize it as needed.
- Add a text box or date stamp if the image needs one.
- Click Save image, then Download to save the signed image in its original format and resolution.
Signing an image instead of a PDF
Not everything that needs a signature is a PDF. A scanned page saved as a JPG, a certificate exported as a PNG, a photographed document, or even a piece of artwork can all need a signature placed on top. FixDoks does the same job the PDF signer does, but works directly on JPG, PNG and WebP images, and keeps the file in its original format.
Create or reuse a signature
Signature creation works the same way as elsewhere on FixDoks: draw it by hand with a mouse or a finger, type your name and pick one of five handwriting styles, or upload a photo of a signature on paper with the background automatically removed. If you already created a signature or initials on this device for a PDF, the same saved signature is available here too, so you do not need to draw it twice.
Placing it on the image
Drag the signature to the spot on the image where it belongs, then use the resize handles to make it the right size for the space, a corner of a certificate, the bottom of a scanned letter, or a specific spot on a document photo. You can also add a plain text box for a note or a caption, and a date stamp in DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY or a written format.

Full resolution, same format
The signed image downloads in the same format you uploaded, JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, WebP stays WebP, at the original resolution. Nothing about the rest of the image is recompressed or resized on your behalf, so the only visible change is the signature, text and date you placed.
If you actually have a PDF
If your document is a PDF rather than an image, use sign PDF instead, since it keeps the underlying PDF text selectable and lets you place a signature on any page. This page is specifically for image files.
Privacy and legal weight
The signature is added entirely in your browser. As with any electronic signature, whether it is accepted depends on what the image will be used for; see the legal validity notes on the sign PDF page and the disclaimer for the general rules that apply to electronic signatures.
