How do I make a QR code that opens WhatsApp?

How to use WhatsApp QR Code Generator
- Enter your WhatsApp number with the country code and no + sign or spaces. For India that is 91 followed by the 10 digit mobile number.
- Optionally type a message that will appear pre-filled, such as "Hi, I want to know the price of...".
- Add your logo or brand colour if you like, then download the PNG or SVG.
- Scan it with a different phone to check that the right chat opens.
How WhatsApp QR codes work
WhatsApp supports "click to chat" links in the form https://wa.me/919876543210. When opened, they start a chat with that number without the person having to save it as a contact first. You can add ?text= with a message, and WhatsApp puts it in the typing box ready to send. FixDoks builds this link for you, encodes the message correctly and turns it into a QR code.
Getting the number format right
The number must be in full international format, with only digits:
- Start with the country code: 91 for India, 971 for the UAE, 1 for the USA and Canada, 44 for the UK.
- Then the mobile number without the leading 0.
- No +, spaces, dashes or brackets. The tool removes them if you type them.
So an Indian number 098765 43210 becomes 919876543210. If the country code is missing, WhatsApp will say the number is not on WhatsApp or open the wrong person.
Why add a pre-filled message?
Many people scan a code, see an empty chat and do not know what to write, so they leave. A short pre-filled message removes that friction. It also tells you where the customer came from. For example, use "Hi, I saw your poster at the Andheri store" on one code and "Hi, I found you on Instagram" on another. When the messages arrive you will know which one worked. The customer can still edit the message before sending.

Test before printing
Always scan the code with another phone. Check that it opens a chat with your number and that the message looks right, especially if you used Hindi or another script. The code uses UTF-8 encoding, so emoji and Indian languages are supported.
