BPSC TRE 4.0 2026 application: photo, signature sizes + checklist
BPSC TRE 4.0 (Advt. 15/2026) accepts online applications from 25 September to 26 October 2026, with fee payment until 25 October. The photo is captured live on a webcam. You upload one English and one Hindi signature, each up to 20KB, then lock your profile before paying.
BPSC TRE 4.0 (Advertisement No. 15/2026, 32,388 school teacher posts) takes applications from 25 September to 26 October 2026, with fee payment until 25 October 2026. You do not upload a photo file: the photo is captured live on a webcam in Step 6 of your profile, and you upload one English and one Hindi signature of up to 20KB each.
What changed this time
The commission issued Advertisement No. 15/2026 on 22 September 2026 and cancelled the earlier Advertisement No. 14/2026 of 18 August 2026. If you saved the older PDF, drop it and use the new one from bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Applications are online only at bpsconline.bihar.gov.in, and a fresh One Time Registration (OTR) is needed even if you registered on the old portal.

The fee is Rs 100, plus bank charges. Candidates who do not enter an Aadhaar number as their ID in the application pay an extra Rs 200 biometric fee. The advertisement asks for Aadhaar and an Aadhaar-linked mobile number so document verification goes smoothly.
Step by step: from OTR to the final form
- Open bpsconline.bihar.gov.in, click New User Registration and finish OTR with your own active email ID and mobile number. Check Spam for the email OTP.
- Enter your name, parents' names, gender, Aadhaar number and date of birth carefully. The advertisement says these cannot be changed after OTR.
- Sign in to DigiLocker when the Meri Pehchan page opens and give consent to the BPSC application system. You can create a DigiLocker account there if you have none.
- Complete the six profile steps: personal, address, other, qualification, experience, then photo and signature.
- In Step 6, allow the webcam, capture your live photo, then upload the English and Hindi signatures, up to 20KB each.
- Tick the confirmation box, then click Submit and Lock Profile.
- Under New Application, click Pay Fees, choose your post and subject, pay through the SBI gateway, then click Apply and submit the form.
- Open My Account, choose View, and download the printed application. Save two copies.
Once you pay and select a post or subject, you cannot swap it. To change anything, you must cancel the payment and start again, and the advertisement says a cancelled payment is not refunded.
Checklist before you submit
- Both signature files are no more than 20KB and easy to read at full size.
- Your webcam photo is a clear, good picture of you, taken in good light, as the advertisement asks.
- Your email and mobile number are your own. Keep them safe until the final result.
- Every certificate you claim, including your teacher eligibility test result, must be issued by 26 October 2026, the last date to apply. For STET, enter your BSEB Unique ID; for CTET, the certificate or marksheet serial number and issue date.
- Every page of the downloaded application shows the Application Number, Application ID and bar code.

Do I upload a photo for BPSC TRE 4.0?
No file is uploaded. In Step 6 of the profile, the portal asks for a webcam and captures your live photo. Make sure the picture is clear and use good light.
What is the signature size for BPSC TRE 4.0?
You upload one English and one Hindi signature. The advertisement says each file should be no more than 20KB, with width between 150 and 220 pixels and height between 250 and 320 pixels.
What is the last date to apply?
