How do I convert an ODT file to PDF?
To convert ODT to PDF, upload your LibreOffice or OpenOffice Writer file to FixDoks's ODT to PDF tool and click Convert to PDF. What is an ODT file?
ODT (OpenDocument Text) is the standard document format of LibreOffice Writer and Apache OpenOffice Writer, and an international ISO standard. Many government offices, schools and Linux users work in ODT. The trouble starts when you send one: people on phones, Macs or older Word versions may not be able to open it, or it opens with a shifted layout. Converting to PDF solves that.

Fonts
Our server has the common free fonts that ship with LibreOffice (Liberation, DejaVu, Noto including Indian scripts, Carlito and Caladea). If your document uses a rare font, the closest match is used. Embedding fonts in Writer (File > Properties > Font > Embed fonts in document) avoids any substitution.
