Photo

Use a recent colour photo, taken within the last six months, with your face clearly visible against a plain light background. The photo appears on your licence, so avoid caps, dark glasses and heavy shadows.

Signature

Sign in black pen on plain white paper, not blue. Take a photo of the signature in good light and let the tool crop, clean and resize it. Applicants who cannot sign give a thumb impression instead, as described in Sarathi's instructions.

Can I change the photo after uploading?

Sarathi allows a fresh upload only until the RTO completes scrutiny of your application, so check both files before you submit.
