How to use Add Watermark to Image

  1. Click Select images and add the photos you want to protect.
  2. Choose Text and type your name or website, or choose Logo and pick a PNG logo.
  3. Set position, size, opacity and rotation. Choose Tiled to repeat the mark across the whole image. The preview shows the first photo.
  4. Click Add watermark and download the results, or all of them as a ZIP.

Why watermark your photos?

A watermark shows who owns an image and makes it less attractive to copy. Photographers, online sellers, property agents, teachers sharing worksheets and small businesses posting product photos on Instagram, WhatsApp catalogues or marketplaces all use them. A visible name or logo also works as free branding when the picture is shared.

Text or logo

Text watermarks are quick: your name, studio, shop or website with a copyright symbol. Turn on the outline so the text stays readable on both light and dark areas. Logo watermarks look more professional; use a PNG with a transparent background so only the logo shows.

Placement tips

  • Corner (bottom right is the default): subtle and good for portfolios, but easy to crop off.
  • Centre: harder to remove, better for proofs you send to clients before payment.
  • Tiled: repeats the mark across the image, often at an angle. This is the strongest protection and is common for document copies and stock previews.

Opacity between 30 and 60% keeps the photo visible while the mark is still clear. Size is relative to each photo, so a batch of different sized images gets a consistent look.

Watermark ID copies

When you share a copy of your Aadhaar, PAN, passport or bank statement for KYC, a tiled text watermark such as "For rental agreement only, 2026" makes it much harder to misuse the copy for anything else. Place the text across the photo and number areas.

Batch processing

Add dozens of photos, set the watermark once and download all of them as a ZIP. Each photo keeps its original format and resolution. Images are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Consistent branding

Use the same text, size and position every time so your photos are instantly recognisable. A good rule is a size of 4 to 8 and opacity around 40% for portfolios, and a tiled mark at 25 to 35% for previews and documents where protection matters more than looks.

Logo watermark tips

Use a white or light version of your logo for dark photos and a dark version for light photos, or add a subtle shadow in your logo file. Keep the logo size at around 15 to 25% of the image width in a corner, so it is noticeable without distracting from the photo. For tiled marks, a simple text line is often cleaner than a repeated logo.

Output

Each file keeps its original format and name with -watermarked added, ready to upload or send.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. All selected photos get the same watermark and you can download them together as a ZIP.
Can someone remove my watermark?
A small corner mark can be cropped out. A centred or tiled watermark at medium opacity is much harder to remove.
What logo format works best?
A PNG with a transparent background, so only the logo is visible.
Will my photos lose quality?
No. They keep their original size and are saved at high quality.
Is it safe to watermark ID cards here?
Yes. The images are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
